Classes and Talks

Back Classes

We hold regular back classes on Tuesdays and Wednesday at our Stokesley clinic, if you wish to book in, please call us on: 01642 205975.

Older person Classes

We offer group presentations entitled “Live Long, Live Well” and our Older Person’s Exercise Classes on Thursday mornings are very popular.

Thank you to Kate for a most interesting, informative and knowledgeable talk to the ladies of Stainton W.I. yesterday. Many of the ladies are going to act on your advice about “staying healthy in later life” and I am sure a few will be visiting the practice shortly for further advice and physiotherapy. Thanks once again,
Rosemary Morgan.

Sport injuries talks

Sports injuries – are you ahead of the game?
Whether caused by a sporting accident, poor training or inappropriate kit, sports injuries are almost always unexpected. For this reason, they affect us both physically and emotionally, as being unable to compete, train, or even enjoy your hobby not only means a loss of form, but also leaves you feeling frustrated and even isolated.

Understanding what causes common sports injuries, (such as sprains, strains, swollen muscles and tendon injuries), can really help in their prevention. And learning how to diagnose and manage injuries can be crucial in ensuring successful rehab and a speedy return to form.

That’s why our team of Physiotherapists has developed a programme of engaging, interactive talks, designed to bring our clinical expertise to your college, sports centre or club. We can tailor our talks to specific injuries or age groups – all are designed to fit in with you and your team.

What will you learn from our talks?

Our flexible programme will help you to understand:

  • The causes of common musculoskeletal problems
  • How to identify symptoms
  • The importance of early diagnosis
  • Sporting injuries in children and adolescents
  • The best ways to prevent sports injuries
  • How to manage existing injuries and ensure successful rehabilitation
  • The basics of taping

If you would like us to come and talk to your group about sports injuries, please just give us a call on:
