What is the history of the Club?
Stokesley Sports Club Football Club is a football club based in Stokesley, North Yorkshire, England. They are currently members of the Wearside League and play at the Stokesley Sports Club.
It was founded in 1920 and has a capacity of 2000.
A bit about Sean Davies
Sean joined the Club this season as Team Captain and his position is Centre Back.
His talent was recognised when he was a young teenager. He was chosen to join Middlesbrough and Newcastle Football Club academies.
At the age of 15 he became a professional footballer playing for York City and then Scarborough.
More recently he has played for Northern League teams.
How is Stokesley Sports Club FC performing this season?
At the moment they are 15th in the the Wearside league. It’s early in the season and they are hoping to steadily climb up the table.
Their home games are on Saturdays and Wednesday evenings at Stokesley Sports Club. More information can be found on their website.
